Free Halloween crochet pattern
Yes! a free halloween crochet pattern for you. This spooky season you will become the fairest of them all, or not; instead you will have the coolest and coziest mani. You may be cold from wearing a sexy halloween outfit, but no frostbite for your finger tips.
Before we get started, this is what you need:
- 2.75mm(US C-2) crochet hook
- Aran or worsted weight yarn:
• Color A: Dishie Worsted Weight from Knit Picks in Verdigris
• Color B: Dishie Worsted Weight from Knit Picks in Jalapeno - Tapestry needle
5-rnd gauge circle with 2.75mm hook = 4.25cm
Note: Since the size of fingers vary, you can adjust the hook or yarn gauge if the result is too loose or tight for your hands.
- Magic ring (MR)
- Slip Stitch (sl st)
- Single crochet (sc)
- Increase (inc)
- Half double crochet (hdc)
- Work into the bumps on the back of the chain (work in BB)

PINKY FINGERS
• Worked in the round in Color A.
• Make 2.
Rnd 1: MR, sc 6. [6 sts]
Rnd 2: *Inc, sc* x 3. [9 sts]
Rnd 3 – Rnd 8: Sc 9.
After Rnd 8, sl st, break the yarn, and invisible join. Weave in the yarn tail.
MEDIUM FINGERS
• Worked in the round in Color A.
• Make 6
Rnd 1: MR, sc 6. [6 sts]
Rnd 2: *Inc, sc* x 3. [9 sts]
Rnd 3: *Sc, inc, sc* x 3. [12 sts]
Rnd 4 – Rnd 10: Sc 12.
After Rnd 10, sl st, break the yarn, and invisible join. Weave in the yarn tail.
THUMBS
• Worked in the round in Color A.
• Make 2.
Rnd 1: MR, sc 6. [6 sts]
Rnd 2: *Inc, sc* x 3. [9 sts]
Rnd 3: *Sc, inc, sc* x 3. [12 sts]
Rnd 4: *Sc 3, inc* x 3. [15 sts]
Rnd 5 – Rnd 10: Sc 15.
After Rnd 10, sl st, break the yarn, and invisible join. Weave in the yarn tail.
PINKY NAILS
• Worked in Color B.
• Make 2.
Ch 6, sc 4 in BB of chs starting with the 2nd ch from the hook, 3 sc in last st, rotate the work, sc 4 in the top of the chs, sl st in turning ch, invisible join.
MEDIUM NAILS
• Worked in Color B.
• Make 2.
Ch 7, sc 5 in BB of chs starting with the 2nd ch from the hook, 3 sc in last st, rotate the work, sc 5 in the tops of the chs, sl st in turning ch, invisible join.
THUMB NAILS
• Worked in Color B.
• Make 2.
Ch 7, hdc 5 in BB of chs starting with the 2nd ch from the hook, 3 sc in last st, rotate the work, hdc 5 in the tops of the chs, sl st in turning ch, invisible join.
ASSEMBLY
Sew the nails to your witch fingers with about 6 rounds from the tip of the fingers.
